Tell Me Father

Father help me, draw me close, for I am so weak.
My heart’s desire is to cling to You for who You are.

But why is it so hard for my words and actions to show.
Tell me, show me how to show Your love.

Tell me Father, show me Jesus, of why You died for me.
I want to see, I want to feel,
I want to know Your love.
I want to know, I want to show,
the love You’ve shown me.
The death of my Lord and Savior, must be exposed.

Search my motives, test my spirit,
and know, know my heart.
By Your hands and through my weakness,
I want to be used by You.

But why is it so hard for my words and actions to show.

Help me to be one who will die for You.
